Publications and Reading Series

PEACH

Launching in Spring 2027, Peach is Georgia College's new national literary journal, edited by MFA students and faculty. Each spring, Peach will publish a single print issue featuring poetry and prose by emerging and established writers. A fall reading period will include general submissions and entries for The Susan Atefat Editors' Prize, awarded to a fully realized, unmistakable work.

In addition to the print issue, Peach will host a curated digital platform featuring contributor spotlights, interviews, and occasional audio recordings.

Though Peach introduces a new editorial direction and publishing rhythm, it carries forward the spirit of Arts & Letters—the national journal founded by Dr. Martin Lammon and published at Georgia College for over 25 years. Peach emerges from that tradition, and Arts & Letters' full archive will remain publicly accessible as a record of the voices and editorial vision that shaped its history.
